Racing experience – Passengered Mick Staiano from Harrogate for a couple of years on a TZ750/700, from the age of 16. This included a 4th place at the southern 100 at 16 years and 4 months. Then had a lay off for a couple of years before passengering Pete Willis, Mick Staiaino’s long term passenger, on a TZ350. Raced Scooter Sidecar for half a season.

Racing Experience – 18 months as passenger for Brian Waller, firstly on GT750 kettle Derbyshire, then TZ750 windle. Raced Scooter Sidecar for half a season.

 

Outfit

The chassis is a Windle dating from around the mid to late 80’s. It appears to be one of the late twin sided swinging arm types, before the change to single sided. If anyone knows any of the history of this bike please let us know. It is believed to have been owned at some point by Chris Jolly and possibly Mick Staiano was the first owner. When we got it there was a sticker say west country sidecars.

 The engine is a TZ350G built by Alan Steele. 39mm reverse slide power jet mikuni carburettors and swarbrick race exhausts.

 Tyres are Avon all round including wets.
